Our Mission

The Egyptian American Cultural Association ("EACA") is 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social, cultural, and is a non-political and non-religion organization that aims to gather the Egyptian-American Community and promote its social and cultural interests in the D.C. Metro Area.  EACA was established over 40 years ago by a small group of Egyptians who wanted to maintain ties to their compatriots and culture.  Today, the Egyptian-American Community is diverse, sizable, and a permanent part of the mosaic of communities in the D.C. Metro area.  It is the goal of EACA to continue to grow as stable and strong as the Community it strives to reflect.

Our Focus

Increasing membership  through various cultural events, tailored to the needs and request of a large number of our community and members, such as trips, lectures, picnics, presentations, organization of concerts and participation with other organizations that focus on bringing Egyptians together. We want to attract more families, youth, children, students and young professionals to our activities.
